v0.11.0 — September 7, 2026

Improvements

• Transient Note Mode is now available to Scribe Mutual’s controlled internal clinician cohort on Windows.
• Clinicians with access can capture a conversation and create an AI-prepared structured temporary draft without first selecting or creating a patient chart.
• Each Transient Note has a fixed 12-hour deletion deadline. Editing, reopening, or sharing the temporary draft does not extend its lifetime.
• The first usable draft uses one note credit. Clinicians can review and edit the draft or copy text from it while it remains temporary.
• Clinicians can create an immutable, read-only snapshot that remains available for up to 60 minutes, but never beyond the Transient Note’s deletion deadline.
• A clinician can deliberately convert the temporary note into an ordinary unsigned draft for a new patient or an existing patient they are authorized to document for. The app provides a one-time 15-minute conversion period. Conversion does not generate the note again or use another note credit.

Security

• Access requires membership in the designated internal clinician cohort and active clinician authorization in Scribe Mutual. A physician or hcp role designation by itself does not grant access.
• The saved transcript and structured draft must pass required de-identification checks before they are persisted. If those checks cannot be completed or do not pass, the workflow stops without saving the transcript or draft.
• While a note remains temporary, its content is kept outside the patient chart and is not used as context for later AI-prepared drafts.
• Conversion to an existing patient requires documentation access to that patient’s chart. A patient available only through a view-only relationship cannot be selected for conversion.

Known Issues

• Public Windows distribution remains gated by organization-validated code signing, validation of the compatible signing workflow, extended device, network, and authentication testing, and independent verification of the distributed installer.
• macOS support is not included in this release.

v0.10.0 — August 30, 2026

Improvements

• Clinicians can now choose “Scribe a conversation” or “Dictate a note” when starting an encounter. Dictation turns the clinician’s own speech into an editable draft without generative AI writing or rewriting the clinical narrative
• Dictation drafts save automatically during capture and review, can be paused and resumed, and can be reopened after an interruption. During a brief network interruption, Dictation can replay up to 30 seconds of speech held temporarily in memory
• Optional spoken formatting cues, including “new line,” “new paragraph,” and “next section,” can structure a dictated note. Each cue remains visible and reversible before signing
• Dictated notes can include a vendor-neutral speech-recognition notice. The notice and spoken-formatting preferences are on by default and can be changed in Dictation Settings
• The selected note type now locks when recording or Dictation begins, with an upfront explanation instead of an additional confirmation dialog
• Coding and clinical-document processing continue after signing without making the signed note editable again. The app shows processing status and available retry actions
• Open-note counts, draft deletion, post-sign navigation, and background-processing status now refresh more reliably

Security

• Dictation audio is streamed over an encrypted connection for speech recognition
• Finalized note content and supporting Dictation evidence are protected from later alteration. New clinical content is recorded through a separate addendum, while later coding and document updates create traceable revisions without changing the signed note

Known Issues

• Dictation Mode is available in the Windows closed beta. macOS Dictation is not included in this release
• Windows SmartScreen may continue to show a caution on some early installs while the signing certificate builds reputation

v0.9.6 — August 18, 2026

Improvements

• Paid subscriptions are live: start a plan, add or update a card, view invoices, and cancel or resume from the billing portal
• Settings now shows your plan by name alongside your note usage for the current period, so it is clear what you are on and how much of it you have used
• Plan changes mid-period are prorated — you are credited for notes you did not use before the new plan is charged
• Subscription messaging reads consistently across trial, active, past-due, canceled, and reactivated states
• Patient subscriptions are shown as coming soon rather than offering actions that are not available yet

Security

• Access to protected health information now fails closed: if a subscription is missing, canceled, or cannot be verified, access is denied rather than allowed through
• Payment records carry no patient information — plan and usage data only, enforced automatically on every build

v0.9.5 — August 11, 2026

Improvements

• Security factors screen in Settings: set up or replace an authenticator app (scan QR, confirm with a 6-digit code); verifying a new authenticator replaces the previous one
• Passkeys: add, list, and remove passkeys from the same Settings screen (registration opens in your system browser)
• Onboarding collects a mobile number for account recovery before access continues; patient invite redemption requires that number first
• SMS opt-in disclosure and consent checkbox on the phone-collection step (program purpose, message frequency, rates, HELP/STOP)

Security

• Sign-in recovery path strengthened: users can re-bind an authenticator without giving up their password to the app
• Clear in-app warning that text-message codes are weaker than an authenticator app
• Administrators can reset a locked authenticator for a user when ticketed remediation is required (user is signed out so they can enroll again)
• Authenticator secrets and phone numbers are kept out of logs and audit detail payloads
